NBA: Harden’s monster game lift the Rockets pass over Knicks

Reigning MVP James Harden carrying the Rockets in his back as he scored his career-high 61 points with 15 rebounds and 5 steals as they beat the New York Knicks 114-110 Wednesday night (Thursday morning in PH) at MSG in New York.

Harden scored 50 or more five time this season. He’s averaging 50.2 ppg in his last 5 games.

Knicks rookie Alonzo Trier also scored his career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds. Knicks got their 36th loss while the Rockets improved their standing and got their 27th win this season.

This Friday night (Saturday morning in PH) Rockets will play the Raptors in Houston while the Knicks will visit the Nets at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
