NBA: Suns will play against Wolves without their two leading bigman

Following their road game against the Hornets where they lost 115-135, their 2 bigman Deandre Ayton and Richaun Holmes ruled-out and will not play against Wolves. Ayton suffered a left ankle sprain, while Holmes suffered a right foot sprain.

Ayton played all their 47 games (leads the team in starts at 46) this season and this will be their first game where he will not play. He’s contributing 16.4 points every game on 59.4 shooting and leading his team on rebounds at 10.6 per game while second in blocks at 46 (1.0 bpg).

Holmes played 45 games this season,44 games from the bench, leading the team in blocks at 50 (1.1 bpg). He is second on the team in total rebounds at 200 (4.4 rpg).

Head coach Igor Kokosgov and the Suns will try to win today at 8:00 AM (Jan 29, PHL Time) against the Wolves without their two leading bigman. It will surely affects their defensive depth without them. Possibly Ryan Anderson, Dragan Bender and Quincy Acy will see more playing time.
