Clutch DRose and the Timberwolves steals a game against the shorthanded Suns

Against the Phoenix Suns, Derrick Rose steals a game and got the Timberwolves’ 22nd victory this season against Suns. Rose got the game winning stepback fadeaway shot against Mikal Bridges with 0.6 seconds left from the clock and stops TJ Warren on a corner 3 attempt to seal the win. He scores game high 31 points with 3 assists and 4 rebounds on 50 percent shooting. 29 of his 32 points scored on the second half. KAT scores 30 points (25 from the first half) and 12 rebounds on 36 percent shooting from the floor. Just only 4 Wolves who got double figure scoring. The other two are Wiggins and Gibson with 10 and 17 points respectively. They played this game without their starting Forward Robert Covington and backup point guard Tyus Jones.

The Suns got their 37th loss and 4th consecutive defeats without their bigmen Ayton and Holmes because of injury. Dragan Bender made his first start and and had 23 points. TJ Warren scores team-high 21 points along with 4 rebounds, Devin Booker scores 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assist. Jamal Crawford, who played at Minnesota last season, played his 1300th career game and he scored only 11 points along with 3 assist on 21 minutes playing time.

This two teams will play each other again on Wednesday, Jan 23 10:00 AM (PHL time) at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
